As far as the switch remaster, it's a bit lacking, but not a complete disaster. I picked it up out of a need for completion when it comes to the original Assassin's Creed trilogy. Overall, I don't know if I'd recommend this game. The buildup of the first is far too long and leaves you bored by the time you start the second. Without giving too much away, you begin as one character and eventually switch to a different one. Play the iconic Assassins Creed III, with enhanced graphics, now featuring: 4K resolution, new character models, polished environment rendering and more.
The game also suffers from an overlong story. The game's story itself is a bit dull, but if you're looking to complete the trilogy, it might be worth checking out. Unfortunately, I don't think it was very successful. They added a sea battle mode where you command a late 18th century ship, complete with sails and cannons, and drive it around the eastern seaboard. The third entry in the Assassin's Creed series is basically just a rehash of the previous two, but with the revolutionary war spin and some distractions baked into the gameplay.
